NCAA Division III High Jump Recruiting Standards (2026-27)
The honest answer to "am I a D3 High Jump athlete?" is not a published standard — it is what D3 programs actually signed. Every number below comes from the real high-school marks of the 2025-26 class.
P25 / P50 / P75 are the quarter, half and three-quarter points of the signing class, best mark first. 1500m/Mile and 3000m marks read as their 1600m/3200m equivalents. All from verified meets — American signees are pooled separately from international ones.

1.91m
The fast end of the D3 class.
P50 — median signee
1.83m
The middle D3 signee.
P75 — back quarter
1.75m
Still signed at this level.
A boy who jumped 1.83m in the High Jump is in the middle of what D3 actually signed this cycle. The middle half of the class landed inside 1.75m–1.91m, across all 106 boys signed by D3 programs in this event.

A dash means that program signed too few athletes in this event for a median to mean anything. The signee count is still exact.
Girls · High Jump
30 signees · 23 programsNot enough verified data to publish a girls High Jump standard here.
Only 54% of the D3 girls signing class has a verified high-school mark of any kind. A pool that thin is skewed toward the athletes who got results written up — the fast end — so any median we printed would read faster than what this level actually signs. We hold 30 High Jump marks here and are not publishing a standard off them.
Every competitor publishing a number here is estimating one. We would rather show nothing. Try the girls read at another level, or run a real mark through the fit check below — it scores against every program that has data, not a division average.
A D3 median doesn't recruit anyone. Programs do.

One division, one signing class, and a range that changes every year — that is what this page is. Program-by-program the bar swings hard in both directions, and progression, event needs, academics and roster spots decide as much as the mark does.
