Training built for
what comes next.
Not generic plans. Not recycled templates. Every program is built around your athlete's event, PRs, race calendar, and recruiting timeline.

A few seconds
change the list.
We matched 7,000+ real D1 signings against what every program invests per athlete. Drag the slider — see what closing the gap is actually worth.
What's a second worth?
1,144 real D1 signingsBuilt from the marks D1 programs actually signed — not recruiting-standard guesswork.
Signee marks from 1,144+ verified D1 recruiting-class entries; program investment from federal EADA per-sport filings. Averages describe programs, not offers — individual scholarships depend on the coach, the roster, and the year.
Not a template.
A relationship.
Generic plans ignore the one thing that matters most: where your athlete is going. Every decision we make connects training to the recruiting process.

Recruiting-aligned training
Your race calendar is built around important recruiting windows — the meets college coaches attend, the weeks you need peak fitness, the timeline that gets you seen.

Plans that adapt with you
PR dropped by 4 seconds? Missed a week with a cold? Race went sideways? Your plan updates to reflect reality — not a rigid schedule from a textbook.

Built for endurance athletes
Distance. Middle distance. Cross country. Not a catch-all fitness app. Every session, every phase, every progression is designed for T&F and XC competition.
Your PRs are the
starting point.
When you start, we take your current PRs, your target PRs, your race schedule, and where you are in the recruiting process. That becomes the foundation. Everything else is built on top.
- ✓
Phase periodization
Base, build, peak, taper — mapped to your season's key races
- ✓
Event-specific workouts
800m and 1500m athletes train differently. Your plan reflects that.
- ✓
Progressive overload
Volume and intensity scale as fitness improves — not on an arbitrary schedule
- ✓
Recovery built in
Easy days are actually easy. Hard days are hard. Most plans get this backwards.
16-Week Season Structure
Aerobic foundation, easy volume, drills
Tempo work, lactate threshold runs
Track intervals, race-pace work
Tune-up races, race-specific sharpening
Low volume, race-sharpness maintained
Phases shift automatically when you add races to your calendar

Eric Avila
Founder, San Diego Elite · Trackbeast Head Coach
Before he coached, Eric raced at the highest level — a 3:35 1500m runner, two-time U.S. Olympic Trials finalist, USATF national champion at the mile, and a professional for over a decade. He built his coaching philosophy around one idea: elite training principles should be accessible to every serious high school athlete — not just the ones at top programs with big budgets.
As founder of San Diego Elite, he's developed athletes from high school PRs into D1 scholarship recipients and professional competitors. Every Trackbeast coaching program runs through his system — built for the recruiting window, built for long-term development, built to produce real results.

Common questions.
What events do you coach?
All T&F and XC events with a focus on endurance: 800m through 10K, steeplechase, and cross country. Plans are built for the specific demands of each event group — middle distance athletes train differently than distance athletes.
Do I need to cancel my membership to pause coaching?
No. Coaching and membership are separate. You can keep your membership active (which keeps your database and NIL access) and pause or cancel coaching at any time. Month-to-month on coaching.
What if my athlete is also being coached by their school team?
Common situation. We coordinate around your school program — supplementing where it makes sense, not competing with your school coach. The intake process covers your current training setup.
How does recruiting timeline integration work?
When you add target schools and key recruiting windows to your profile, the training phases are built to peak at the right times — the meets college coaches attend and the windows when your athlete needs to be at their best.
Can I upgrade my coaching tier mid-month?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time and will be prorated for the remainder of the month. Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle.
