▸Wyoming triple jumper Quincy Howe, widely considered the best jumper in Cowboy history, was a two-time All-American (2001, 2002) and never lost to a conference opponent in four years, winning eight conference titles across the WAC and Mountain West.

▸Wesley Maiyo became Wyoming's first national champion, winning the 1000 yards at the 1974 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
